Food Pantry Assistance

Food Pantry Hours:

The pantry is available to place an online order at anytime. Order pick-up times are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9AM–2PM. The food pantry is closed Wednesdays. 

How Does the Food Pantry Work?

Beginning December 12th, 2022, you will ‘shop’ for the items you would like to receive online (items requested will be fulfilled to the best of our ability and based on availability). You can then select a time to collect your food pantry items, to ensure there are no wait lines in the office.

What is Available?

Food: These items are available on a weekly basis.

Monthly Household Items: These items are only available once per calendar month upon request during your order pick-up.

First Time Food Pantry User:

If you are new to the food pantry, and have never previously used our food pantry in person or online, you must fill out the following application. (If you have visited our office before or have already filled out a food pantry application, you do not need to complete the below application. You can proceed to the ‘Returning Food Pantry Customer’ section).

Please note, only residents of HSE school district are eligible to use our food pantry. When registering, you will need to submit your ID and proof of mailing address (1 piece of mail). Once you have submitted the completed application and required documents, you may place your food pantry order using the ‘Click here to access the pantry’ link below. If you require assistance with the application, please call our office.

Returning Food Pantry Customer:

  1. For the first time, click on the ‘Click here to access the pantry’ link below.
  2. If you have been to our pantry our used our online ordering system before, you do not need to fill in an application.
  3. Use an email address that you have access to as your username. For password use: Food123!!
  4. Check your email. Be sure to wait a few minutes and check both your inbox and junk mail. Email will come from infor@soxbox.co; (info@soxbox.co via amazonses.com)
  5. Within the email there will be a link. Click on the link. (See example email below)

7. Click on “Log In”. Enter the username and password you just created.
8. To place an order, Click “Make a New Reservation”.
9. Select Desired Help “Delaware Township Food Pantry”.
10. Select date & time for your order pick up. Once you’ve chose a date & time, click on continue.
11. Select food items. Once finished selecting, click “continue”.
12. Pick up is as usual. (Text/call 317-756-1311 when you arrive and come into the lobby.)

Order Pick-Up Times:

Before choosing your food items, you will be asked to choose a pick-up time. These are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9 am to 2 pm (excluding holidays). Each time slot is 15 minutes.

Late Policy:

To provide timely service to all our clients, please notify us if you are going to be late or need to cancel your appointment by calling or texting the food pantry phone number.

If you do not pick up your order within 30 minutes of your scheduled pick-up time, your order will be canceled, and you will need to reorder. If you do not call or show for 3 scheduled appointments, you will not be able to schedule orders for 30 days following your 3rd miss.
